Ingredients
- 2 pounds chicken wings, cleaned and patted dry
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/3 cup hot sauce (e.g., Frank’s RedHot)
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Place a wire rack on top of the baking sheet.
- Prepare the Wings: In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings with vegetable oil, salt, black pepper, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Toss well to coat the wings evenly.
- Bake the Wings: Arrange the wings in a single layer on the wire rack and bake for 40-45 minutes, turning halfway through, until they are crispy and golden.
- Make the Spicy Garlic Sauce: In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and add the minced garlic. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, then stir in the hot sauce. Mix well to combine.
- Toss the Wings: Once the wings are done baking, transfer them to a large bowl and pour the spicy garlic sauce over them. Toss to coat the wings thoroughly with the sauce.
- Serve: Garnish with chopped green onions and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
