📝 Ingredients
Ice Cream Base
- 1 ½ cups pitted sweet cherries (fresh or frozen)
- ¾ cup full-fat coconut milk or heavy cream
- ½ cup whole milk or oat milk
- ¼ cup maple syrup or honey
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of sea salt
Sage Syrup
- ¼ cup water
- ¼ cup sugar or honey
- 3–4 fresh sage leaves
Chocolate Ribbon
- ¼ cup dark chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate
- 1 tsp coconut oil or butter
🍒 Frozen cherries work just as well as fresh—no need to thaw before blending!
📌 Step-by-Step Instructions
1️⃣ Make the Sage Syrup
In a small saucepan, bring water and sugar (or honey) to a low simmer. Add the sage leaves and remove from heat. Let steep for 10–15 minutes, then strain and cool completely.
2️⃣ Blend the Base
In a blender, combine cherries, milk, cream, maple syrup, vanilla, and salt. Blend until smooth. Taste and adjust sweetness. Pour into your Ninja Creami pint container and freeze for 24 hours.

3️⃣ Spin in the Creami
Place the frozen pint in the Ninja Creami, use the Ice Cream setting. Scrape down the sides and Respin if needed until silky smooth.
4️⃣ Swirl in the Sage Syrup & Chocolate
Melt dark chocolate with coconut oil in the microwave until smooth. Let cool slightly. Use a spoon to tunnel into the ice cream, pour in sage syrup and drizzle melted chocolate. Swirl gently with a butter knife to create ribbons.
