Lemon Basil Infused Water

Some drinks just scream summer, and this Lemon Basil Infused Water is one of them. It’s the easiest way to stay hydrated while feeling like you’re sipping something fancy straight out of a spa.
The trick to making infused water that actually tastes amazing (instead of just barely flavored water) is to muddle the basil leaves first—this releases all those peppery, floral oils before they get diluted. Then, we add thin lemon slices, letting them infuse naturally without turning the water bitter.
It’s crisp, cool, and way more exciting than plain water. Plus, it looks gorgeous in a pitcher, making it perfect for brunch, picnics, or just treating yourself to a little refreshment on a hot day.
