Ingredients

  • 3 cups seedless red or black grapes
  • 1 Tbsp fresh lime juice plus more to taste
  • 6-8 mint leaves
  • 1-2 tsp honey or maple syrup optional, depending on grape sweetness
  • Pinch of sea salt

Instructions

Blend the Base

  • Rinse the grapes and pat dry. Remove the stems.
  • In a blender, combine the grapes, lime juice, mint, sweetener (if using), and salt. Blend until smooth.

Strain & Freeze

  • Optional: strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove the skins for a smoother texture.
  • Pour into a shallow metal or glass dish and freeze 4-6 hours or overnight.

Scrape & Serve

  • Use a fork to scrape into icy flakes (granita-style), or let soften slightly and scoop like a sorbet.
  • Serve in chilled bowls with extra mint or lime zest on top.
