Equipment

  • Grill or grill pan
  • Wooden or metal skewers
  • Mixing bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into squares
  • 1 green bell pepper, cut into squares
  • 1 medium onion, cut into wedges
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Wooden or metal skewers

Instructions

  • Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, mix olive oil, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, paprika, and salt.
  • Marinate the Beef: Add the beef cubes to the marinade, ensuring they're well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
  • Assemble the Skewers: Thread the marinated beef, bell peppers, and onion onto the skewers, alternating between beef and vegetables.
  • Preheat the Grill: Heat the grill to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking.
  • Grill the Skewers: Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the beef is cooked to your desired doneness and the vegetables are tender.
  • Serve: Remove from the grill and let rest for a couple of minutes before serving. Enjoy hot!
