- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
For the Crisp Topping:
- 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar packed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
- 1/2 tsp salt
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Toss the sliced apples with the lemon juice, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Spread evenly in the dish.
In a mixing bowl, combine the oats, flour, brown sugar, melted butter, and salt until crumbly.
Sprinkle the topping evenly over the apples.
Bake for 40 minutes, until the topping is golden and the apples are bubbling. Cool slightly before serving.
